A New School Year Had Begun

          We are four weeks into another school year, and with it comes another awesome group of second graders! We started off the year getting to know one another by presenting our Me Box projects. Each student filled their boxes with some of their favorites things. Students did a great job, and we were able to get to know each other better. Look forward to another great year!

Habitat Presentations

 Students then presented their projects along with some interesting facts about their animal as well as what God designed the animal to do. Here are some pictures of your students presenting their projects. They did a fantastic job!

2nd Grade Habitat Projects

Students did a phenomenal  on their habitat projects! We finished up the animal section in our science book with this fun project! Students chose an animal and then created a diorama of the animal's habitat from a box. The students' creativity really showed through on these projects! And thank you to all the parents who assisted in these projects as well!

Messy Spelling Word Practice

We have some great spellers in second grade! This week the students got a little messy during spelling, but they had a lot of fun spelling their words in some shaving cream! 

Fun In The Classroom!

Hey everyone!

The next pictures show buddies in math stations. On review days, students pair up and travel from station to station around the room to practice things such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, time, money, temperature, dot cards, and more!
