Election Day! Duck Vs Farmer Brown
Our second grade class has been studying elections and what it means to be an American with the right to vote. To vote is a great responsibility for each American as every American should be patriot!After reading the book Duck for President our class took place in a mock election in which each student created a voter registration card and then used that to be allowed in the voting booth. Once inside students cast their ballots for either Duck or Farmer Brown. The final tally....Duck 11 and Farmer Brown 7. Duck for the win! Students then received an I Voted badge. It was a very exciting day!
